Important: Civil Service Examination Venue Terminology

The Civil Service Commission distinguishes between examination localities and assigned rooms. Never treat these four concepts as interchangeable:

1. Testing Center

The city, municipality, or locality designated by the CSC for conducting the examination.

2. Application Office

The CSC Regional or Field Office where applications or appointments are processed.

3. School Assignment

The specific school campus or testing venue assigned to an accepted applicant.

4. Room Assignment

The specific classroom, seat number, and batch room within the testing venue.

Filing Procedures & Guidance

How to Apply for the CSE-PPT

Filing procedures can differ by CSC region. Always follow your specific CSC Regional Office advisory.

Slots May Close Early

Application slots are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and often close before the published deadline once the regional quota is reached.

Personal Appearance Required

An online registration or appointment does not complete the entire process online. You must appear in person for biometric capture and document check.

Anti-Fixer Warning

Never pay any individual or third-party group to reserve, buy, or expedite an examination slot. Slots are non-transferable and CSC strictly prosecutes fixers.

Standard 12-Step Application Walkthrough

1

Choose Examination Date & Level

Decide between the Professional (170 items, 3h10m) or Subprofessional (165 items, 2h40m) level based on your educational qualifications and career goals.

2

3

Identify Your CSC Regional Office

Choose the CSC region where you will physically file and sit for the exam. Application policies, slots, and appointment schedules are managed regionally.

4

Access the Designated Portal

Navigate to the portal specified by your region (e.g. OCSEAS Region Selector or eServe). Do not use another region's sub-portal.

5

Select an announced testing-center locality and available appointment schedule. Slots are first-come, first-served and may close early.

8

Prepare Required Documents & Photos

Complete CS Form 100, four passport photos with name tag and signature, valid government ID original and photocopy, and ₱500 fee.

9

Personal Appearance & Verification

Appear in person at the designated CSC Regional or Field Office on your appointment date for biometric logging, thumbprint, and receipt.

10

Safeguard Your Application Receipt

Keep your official receipt (OR) and application confirmation stub in a secure location. You must present this on examination day.

11

Verify School Assignment on eNOSA

Approximately 1 to 2 weeks before the exam, visit the CSC eNOSA system to look up your assigned school, building, and room number.

12

Review Final Exam Day Advisories

Check the CSC website 2 to 3 days before exam day for any weather alerts, room reassignment notices, or gate instructions.
